Polly Benson (Owner)

Polly Benson, OTR/L, has a degree in Allied Medicine from The Ohio State University, and is a licensed Occupational Therapist most recently practicing in Ohio in a school based setting for special needs kids. She also has extensive experience in work conditioning, ergonomics and job site analysis. She enjoys fitness and has taught exercise classes in the elderly population, and for the adult population in rehab classes, aerobics, water aerobics and step aerobics. She was a swimmer in high school and college and enjoys outdoor sports such as golf, hiking and boating.

Polly is also concerned with the growing obesity epidemic, especially in the younger generations. Due to their interest in fitness and their children's interest in technology, Polly and her husband founded Circuit Wellness for families with the intention of exercising together and getting the kids interested in working out in a fun way. "Exergames allow us to reach fit and non-fit kids by encouraging exercise and weight loss through video game technology" says Mrs. Benson. "Although there are many fitness centers nearby, none of them promote a family workout concept or use exergames for kids fitness. The 30 minute circuit workout concept caters to a busy family schedule, yet allows families to attend together."

She has demonstrated her long standing commitment to serving families and kids in her community through her involvement in MOPS as a Volunteer leader for 12 years. She has spoken at numerous MOPS meetings and conventions and is well respected in the MOPS leadership and special needs communities. She has 3 children, and has been married to husband, Brian, for 17 years.
